Class Description:
Join famed painter Dan Ozborne for a deep dive exploration of robot, knight, and vehicle weathering techniques in this 3-day masterclass. Unveil time-saving tricks and incorporate essential products like airbrush stencils & liquid latex mask into your workflow.
During Day 1, students will learn true metallic metal colors, learn filtering & shading with the airbrush while unleash amazing heraldry with stencils and masking techniques. Students will also learn quick & striking OSL effects with fluorescent paints. These lessons will set the stage for painting true weapons of war!
Days 2 & 3 will delve deep into vehicle weathering methods ranging from physical mediums like texture paints chipping mediums to panel modulation, rust streak, oils, enamels, Grimdark Villainy Inks, Dirty Down Rust and much more. We will learn not only to paint & weather armor panels, but also apply environmental effects telling stories of dust, rust, and erosion.
Each students will receive guided instruction, personalized feedback, and take part in a Q&A session for a hands-on learning experience.
Suitable for painters of all skill levels, the class includes two printed models and all essential supplies for hands-on practice. The masterclass also includes a LVO Three day badge, Hobby Pass, Exclusive Swag Bag and catered meals!
